In 2013, the National Trust for Historic Preservation partnered with Heritage Ohio to spotlight 10 tax credit projects across Ohio. These rehabilitations have driven economic development, breathed new life into vacant buildings, and contributed to the rejuvenation of our traditional downtowns. The report finds that the federal historic tax credits, since 2007, have helped spur $958 million in historic rehabilitation work and created over 15,000 jobs.
