On April 28, 2022, the National Trust submitted testimony to the House Natural Resources subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands in support of the Historic Preservation Enhancement Act (H.R. 6589) and the African American Burial Grounds Preservation Act (H.R. 6805).
