Indiana Landmarks seeks a motivated individual for the position of Community Preservation Specialist in its Western Regional Office. The Community Preservation Specialist assists in carrying out a full range of preservation services in a 17-county region in western Indiana. Among those services are working with stakeholders on preservation issues and projects, assisting with preservation advocacy efforts to save endangered landmarks, supporting and strengthening local preservation organizations, and organizing regional events and educational programs. Qualified candidates should be knowledgeable about preservation principles and programs. Candidates should also possess a degree in historic preservation or a degree in a related field with professional preservation experience. The position requires frequent travel, evening meetings, and occasional weekend responsibilities.
