The Director of Preservation Resources will play an integral role in implementing the organization’s advocacy agenda, providing resource information to owners of historic properties, managing existing technical preservation programs, and communicating the benefits of preservation to policy-makers and community members. Position Responsibilities include serving as the Preservation team-leader, managing Historic Denver’s Action Fund, which includes developing criteria for project selection, building relationships with community groups, and developing strategies that advance community preservation goals, develop protocols for outreach and engagement with the owners of properties identified as potentially significant through on-going survey work, implementing the 50th Anniversary advocacy campaign, and work with the Executive Director as an advocate for preservation in municipal planning efforts, redevelopment projects involving historic properties, and in responding to demolition notices.
