Instructional Designer / Diversity & Inclusion Practitioner
Greetings! I'm Jacqueline "Jacquie" Johnson and work as an independent training consultant to help develop leaders and highly skilled employees through diversity, equity and inclusion programs. I formerly managed diversity programs at the National Trust. I believe that when employers and their staff engage in deep inner self-work true transformation happens in communities. I am especially interested in how inner work at organizations directly impacts historically marginalized communities as well as builds and sustains places where everyone can thrive. With over 15 years of combined experience, my specialities include instructional design, training delivery, project management, event planning, organizational development, leadership development, workplace diversity and inclusion, and community engagement. My education background includes various social sciences (e.g., criminal justice, political science, anthropology, and international development). I currently serve on the board of the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions and recently joined the board of the American Association of Access, Equity, and Diversity LEAD Fund. In addition to helping develop skilled and compassionate workers, I enjoy spending quality time with close family and friends, architecture, the great outdoors, wine & spirits, and observational comedy.
