Bill Hart received his B.S. in Historic Preservation from Southeast Missouri State University and completed his graduate coursework in Architectural History at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Bill joined Missouri Preservation as its very first Field Representative in 2008 through the National Trust's Partners in the Field Program. He became their Executive Director in 2011. Interested in vanishing building types, Bill was instrumental in forming the Missouri Barn Alliance. He recently wrote a preservation travel book, "Historic Missouri Roadsides," comprised of 6 road trips in Missouri featuring historic small towns on 2-lane highways.
