I am director of All That Philly Jazz, a place-based public history project that is documenting and mapping Philadelphia's golden age of jazz. A lifelong activist, I am particularly interested in the intersection of historic preservation, cultural heritage and social justice.
I am an experienced public policy consultant and civic app developer who works with nonprofits to turn concepts into prototypes. I have participated in 15 hackathons and developed nationally-recognized civic apps, including Cost of Freedom Voter ID App and Yo! Philly Votes.
I am a freelancer who writes about public policy, art, politics, race, cultural heritage and historic preservation.
