National Trust Litigation Policy

The National Trust’s Litigation Policy revised and approved by the National Trust Board of Trustees on November 5, 2006, sets forth the considerations that should be evaluated in order to determine whether formal National Trust participation in historic preservation litigation is appropriate, to determine the appropriate level or degree of National Trust involvement, and to set forth the procedures that should be followed in making decisions to participate in litigation.
