The National Park Service has released a new illustrated version of the Guidelines on Flood Adaptation for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings. This version replaces an earlier, text-only version from November 2019. The text has been updated and edited, illustrations and photographs added, and case studies included.
In addition to the Guidelines, a webinar is available to watch on-demand that provides information about why the NPS developed the Flood Guidelines and how they can be used. Finally, a set of frequently asked questions explains how the Guidelines address flood risk, who can use the Flood Guidelines, how they can be used, and basic questions about Standards and Guidelines.
All of this information is available at https://www.nps.gov/articles/000/guidelines-on-flood-adaptation-for-rehabilitating-historic-buildings.htm
