Bio

Susan C. Trexler has a Masters of Science degree in Historic Preservation (University of Oregon, 2014) and experience in primary and secondary source research, historic context writing, documenting historic buildings through photography and architectural descriptions, identifying character-defining features and assessing National Register eligibility of buildings, using GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and creating interpretive materials and programs. Ms. Trexler is an experienced researcher and writer and has worked with a variety of laws and regulations including: the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), specifically Section 106; National Register of Historic Places (NRHP); Washington's State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA); National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and EIS reports; Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act; and local ordinances such as the Redmond Zoning Code (RZC, Redmond, Washington).
