Preservation is my second career! After working 9 years as an environmental engineer for the state of Georgia's Dept. of Natural Resources, I decided to pursue and complete a Master's degree in Heritage Preservation at Georgia State University.
Two of my favorite words are "adaptive reuse," and I'm excited to work as the coordinator of Vital Sites, a revolving fund nonprofit here in my hometown of Louisville, KY. Our first project is the rehabilitation of five, ca. 1890 shotgun houses.
