Summer 2013 Forum Journal: Preservation in the City

03-08-2016 16:22

In 1966 the Lovin’ Spoonful recorded “Summer in the City,” a song about hot days and about finding the right girl. But “despite the heat it'll be alright” in our nation’s big cities, according to the contributors to the summer issue of the Forum Journal. These authors, city dwellers all, examine the role of historic preservation in the rightsizing debate, address walkability and density, and look at museums that tell the story of urban dwellers. The journal also features an interview with big city preservation leaders who share their thoughts about harnessing the energy and passion of new urban residents.

It’s summer. Come read about preservation in the city.
